Alexandra Hoethke
Alexandra, a junior at the George Washington University Online High School, is an editor of the GW YAWP Newspaper. Alexandra is also the News Editor for the K12 International Academy's newspaper, The iGlobe. She lives in the Queen City, Charlotte, NC.

Alexandra is an avid activist and member of the National Organization for Women as well as the Fridays for Future Movement. Alexandra is vastly interested in the medical field, as she declares biological sciences as her major. She aspires to study medicine to become an orthodontist.

Along with her interest in medicine, she is also interested in politics. Within GWUOHS, Alexandra is the President and founder of the GW Debate Team. Aside from her academic interests, she also has a strong passion for figure skating. Alexandra has been a competitive figure skater for nine years. She is a South Atlantic Regional finalist. During her years as a journalist, Alexandra has interviewed members of the US Congress as well as a senator. Through her writing, she strives to make a positive difference in the world.
